Originally from Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn, New York; DJ Razzi has well over 30 years experience in the music industry.
An original member of the Mean Machine INC; early pioneers of street rap and hip hop music. DJ Razzi started his career as a rapper known for fussing reggae and Spanish lyrics over hip hop beats a first in the 1980’s. MC Ralphie-D exploited an honed his skills on the mean streets of Brooklyn and Money Making Manhattan New York.
Showcasing his talents as an MC and DJ alongside his childhood friends and members of the Mean Machine INC which featured DJ Banrock, MC Skeedie-D, and MC ASI exposing Money Making Manhattan to that Brooklyn flow and becoming the featured source of entertainment at the Public Lounge 35th Street and Fashion Avenue.
DJ Razzi began producing and writing music while honorably serving his country. After retiring in June of 2007 DJ Razzi had successfully transitioned from the era of wax to the era of digital music. The US Navy allowed for DJ Razzi to gain much insight to his musical education and culture due to the extensive worldwide traveling.
Razzi mastered the art of DJing completing the cycle and becoming a true entertainer and performer. A performer that seamlessly integrates sounds from around the world, Mixing reggae, reggaeton, rock, pop, dub-set, country, Hick-Hop, Hip Hop and many different genres of worldwide music. DJ Razzi has become one of the most knowledgeable individuals embarrassing music to date. A true Brooklyn legend.
